DIGITAL GARDEN

Today I embark on a redefine personal journey of the concept known as “Digital Gardening”

The article I came across, written by Joel Hooks, explains it as:

It’s a comparison that you can take very far. From “planting seeds” and “pulling weeds” to tending mutiple gardens that each serve an individual need or desired outcome.

What really stuck out to me, was that our art does not need to be finite to be perfect within itself. Ideal does not have to be complete, as long as there’s a progression.

Which, to a degree is conflicting with recent mindsets I have been trying to work through.

The concept of “done is better than perfect” can actually adopt features of this “Digital Gardening”, in that a daily water, weed, and sense of attention can truly compound with succession.

This will turn into an open journal of ideas that, like a garden, will go through seasons of tilling, sowing, watering, weeding, and harvesting.

This doesn’t all have to make perfect sense right away, but it’s time flourish by whatever means necessary.

That’s all I got for now 😉
