What is your favorite genre of music?
One does not simply have a favorite genre of music…
Realistically, I actually have been listening to music with intent since I was very, very young. The formative memories of music I have include Mozart, Vivaldi, The Beatles, Elton John, and a variety of Jazz from the local Seattle radio station.
As I began to develop my own musical tastes and interests, I remember finding interest in Queen, Green Day, … can’t forget Linkin Park… and a lot of instrumental rock. This would have been around 2004-‘06.
It’s worth noting that a heavy influence for my musical tastes stems from growing up playing video games. There was no shortage of Nintendo, Sega, and Sony games to fuel my musical inspiration when I was a kid. Maybe that’s why…
